From the title screen, if you click the START button it'll take you right to the mode select screen.
== Mode Select == | |||
From here you'll be able to select a Game mode to play (or the Locker Room)
* Online Battle and Single Battle are the main game modes.
* Tutorial: This option will make you play through a tutorial, before initiating a standard bot match in Bomb Town 1(you will play as Shiro). This bot match does not count as a single/online battle. So after the tutorial match ends, you'll be spat out to the Mode Select menu to play some more :) (TO BE CHANGED)
* Locker Room: You can dress up your Bombergirl, change skill loadouts, etc. here. See the next section for more info on the Locker Room.
* Gacha: You are able to spend acquired Gacha Allowance Tickets (Obtained by playing Online matches.) or Purchased Bombergirl Tickets here in exchange for goodies, such as: Skills, Fashion, Voice Chats, BGM and Characters. (Keep an eye out for what is featured on the current Gacha banner before spending tickets, make sure there is something you desire).
* Blue [ゲーム終了] button: Press this to close the game.
image | |||
= Locker Room = | |||
Locker room lets you change your skills/chat-voice loadouts, outfits, title, etc. It also lets you purchase various items with Clothes Points(CP). There is no time limit for the locker room (at least for the pc version).
The upper right buttons are as follows(from left to right):
* Green スキル (Skills) button
* Yellow チャットボイス (Chat voice) button
* Orange ドレスアップパーツ (Dress-up parts) button
* Blue CPショップ (CP Shop) button
* Purple プロフィール (Profile) button
in the lower left, below your Bombergirl is the ガール切り替え(girl switch) button. This will let you change your character. (clothing/skills/etc. are set per girl!)
image | |||
Clicking the pink "判定" button (lower right) will confirm all your settings/loadouts, but it'll also make you leave the Locker Room.
== Skills(スキル) == | |||
In the pink box labeled マインスキルセット(main skill set), You can change what skills are assigned to your "skill 1" and "skill 2" keys. Just highlight the skill button you want to change by clicking it(the yellow icon will turn green). Then select the skill you wish to swap it out with from above. (There is a green section labeled スキルカスタマイズ(skill customization) that will show your available skills as picture cards)
The blue box labeled サブスキルセット(Sub skill set) works a lot like the main skill set above, except its controls what order of skills that appear in your sub skill bar. (Left slot = Lower, Right = Upper. This will make more sense later in the guide...)
While you can only have 2 main skills mapped at once, you can change it out mid-battle to one of your sub skills!
'''Do note that swapping out a skill mid-battle will incur a cooldown penalty, so make sure to swap at a wise time!'''
image | |||
Random info: | |||
* Skill cards start at Rank 00. If you pull the same skill card from gacha again, It'll increase its rank. (High rank = Lower cooldown)
* There is a "Lv." that is displayed on the lower right of each card. This is the required team level before the skill becomes available to use.
* Each Bombergirl comes with 2 default skills and up to 2 Alt skills. Alt skills can be obtained from gacha, but unless the current Bombergirl is featured on the banner, the pull rate(s) will be pretty low...
== Chat voice(チャットボイス) ==
* See [[Chat Voice|chat voice]]
== Dress-up parts(ドレスアップパーツ) ==
After obtaining some dress-up parts (outfits, accessories, etc.) from Bombergacha, you'll be able to dress up your Bombergirl
There are 8 buttons on the lower part of the screen that'll bring up a certain category of dress-up parts:
Top row: | |||
頭(Head)Pink, 顔(Face)Green, 服装(Clothes)Orange, 背中(Back)Purple
Bottom Row: | |||
右手(Right hand)Sky-blue, 左手(Left hand)Red, 尻尾(Tail)Blue, その他(Other/BGM)Grey
After selecting a category, you'll be able to select a dress-up part from above to equip. Click the grey "セット中のパーツをはずす" To remove the part/return to default.
The その他(Other) category is where alternate BGM's are situated(if you have any unlocked)
image | |||
Random info: | |||
* Some dress-up parts originated from past events and cannot be obtained anymore
* Some dress-up parts will augment/change your specific Bombergirl's portrait art. (Ie: Using the cat suit on Urushi or using the witch dress on Aqua.)
== CP Shop(CPショップ) == | |||
When pulling from Bombergacha, if you pull any repeat outfits/accessories/BGMs, you will get a certain amount of Clothes Points(CP), depending on the star rating of the repeat item.
★★ = 30cp | |||
★★★ = 50cp | |||
★★★★ = 70cp | |||
Said Clothes Points(CP), can be spent in the CP shop to purchase a limited selection of dress-up parts, Bombergirl EXP, chat voices, BGMs and titles.
image | |||
Random info: | |||
* Any dress-up parts/BGMs that you see in the CP shop cannot be obtained from Bombergacha. (Ie: the blue maid dress is exclusive to the CP shop.)
* If you buy a chat voice via the CP shop, but later obtain the same chat voice via other means, you'll be refunded the CP spent.
* Normally you won't get any CP for repeated chat-voices(10)/skills(30-50)/Bombergirls(100), but if you happen to have that specific Bombergirl at Rank 120, you will obtain CP because said Bombergirl's Rank EXP is capped.
== Profile(プロフィール) == | |||
First Tab(称号) will let ya pick your title. Click the (セット) Button next to said title to equip it.
The Second tab(戦績 本気でバトル) will show your archived ranks from past ranked battle seasons.
image | |||
= Battle Menus = | |||
After selecting Online Battle you'll be greeted with a window that has two options to pick from:
* 気軽にバトル(Casual Battle): Play for fun. You can be matched with anyone.
* 本気でバトル(Ranked Battle): Every match will effect your rank. You will be matched with people around your rank/tier. There is a light blue プレー人数(Player count/Lobby density) meter that indicates how busy the ranked lobby is.
You can see your current rank/rating in the upper right. (Initial score is 1500)
image | |||
== Lobby == | |||
After selecting Casual or Ranked you'll be yeeted right into the matchmaking lobby. You'll see the BOMBERGIRL SELECT screen first... but matching making will still be occurring in the background...
Pick yo Bombergirl and slap that pink "判定"(Confirm) button to pop into the match making lobby.
image | |||
And now... you wait. Here in the lobby you'll be able to adjust your skill/chat voice loadout, peek at a tips & tricks or change your Bombergirl with the buttons in the upper right.
* Skills(スキル) Green | |||
* Chat voice(チャットボイス) Yellow
* Guide/Tip & tricks(知恵袋) Orange-ish
* Return to Bombergirl selection(ガール選択ヘ戻る) Orange
Adjusting your Skills and chat voice loadout will be the same as in the locker room, so refer back to that section for more detailed information. Note: Instead of confirming, you just click the X button in the upper right of the skill/chat voice window to finalize your changes.
'''RANKED BATTLE ONLY:''' In the lower right you'll have a sky blue "退出"(Exit) button. ranked battle does NOT have a time limit for match making. So if you don't have the time to wait for a ranked lobby to populate, click this button to go back to the Mode Select screen.
image | |||
When a large yellow window with: "マッチングが完了しました! しばらくお待ちください" on it appears. It means matchmaking is complete. Please wait for the lobby to populate.
'''Note: If someone disconnects during this process(or before the match starts), the whole lobby will be kicked out to the Mode Select screen.'''
image | |||
The lobby is filled! Make sure to say よろしく(Nice to meet you) ;3
If anyone immediately confirms their characters selection (Large pink OK next to their Player name), they might be a Bot...
On the left is your team, on the right is the enemy team.
In the middle, below the timer, is the map/stage you'll be playing on.
If this is a RANKED match you'll see the team rank averages[(味方/敵)チームの平均レート] to the left and right of the map/stage.
As the time ticks down, you'll be able to adjust your team's composition/psych out the enemy.
suggestions: | |||
* Adjust your team's composition to be more viable. I'd recommend having at least one BLOCKER on your team. A standard party tends to have one of each: BOMBER, ATTACKER, SHOOTER, BLOCKER. But if you feeling spicy you can always go for weird party balance to counter your opponents plan/strategy. A common Alternative party make up is Double-ATTACKER, SHOOTER, BLOCKER.
* Change your character to counter an opponent's pick.
* Change your character at the last second. (this sorta plays into the above 2 bullet points) Just make sure you are willing to face the consequences of your actions....
* Use chat voice to pump up your team or psych out your enemies. Note that spamming chat voice too much might annoy your team, causing the opposite to happen...
When you think you're ready, press the pink 準備完了(Ready) in the lower right to lock in your decision. You won't be able to undo this.
image | |||
== In-Battle Interface ==
You've finally reached the battle! I won't really explain how to play here, but I will tell you the menu translations~
the orange バースに帰還(return to base) in the upper left will return you to your base. (You can also use your assigned hotkey. By default it's the delete key)
* Takes a full 3 seconds to return to base. If you get interrupted, your return will be canceled.
* You will recover all of your health after returning to base this way.
* "Return to base" function will only take you back to your base. (You can only respawn at the midway point after death)
The yellow マップ拡大(Map enlargement) in the upper right will enlarge/shrink your minimap. (you can also use your assigned hotkey. By default it's the pagedown key)
In the Lower right, you'll see a row of 3 icons and red long button above it. of the 3 icons, the Left most ボム(bomb) button will let you know how many bombs you are able to place at that moment, and the 2 buttons to the right of that are your "Skill 1" and "skill 2" keys.
These 2 buttons will relay important information such as:
* Team lv. requirement. Example: "LV.4で解禁" would indicate that your skill would be available to use after your team hits lvl 4.
* Remaining cooldown. | |||
Above those 3 icons is the long red スキル入れ替え(Skill replace) button. Clicking this will slide out your Sub-skill menu. Select a sub skill above the skill key you wish to replace. Else click the now orange 閉じる(close) button to slide this menu closed.
'''Do note that swapping out a skill mid-battle will incur a cooldown penalty, so make sure to swap at a wise time!'''
By default the chat voice buttons will automatically hide after mouse inactivity. So to make it pop back up, wiggle your mouse. (Alternatively you can change your mouse auto-hide settings at the title screen>settings menu.)

== Map Chat == | |||
* See [[Chat Voice|chat voice]]
== Total Results == | |||
After the match finishes, you'll get to see how everyone on your team did. Do note that you should probably only compare scores of peeps of the same type, as certain character types/ roles have lower or higher scoring potentials.
Usually: | |||
* BOMBERS(Offence) score the highest (around 2-3.5k), because enemy base damage gives a lot of score.
* BLOCKERS(Defence) tend to score the 2nd highest(around 2k). Generating blocks tends to give a lot of score. Exception: Grim Aloe. Converting bombs into blocks unfortunately doesn't rack up a lot of points :C
* ATTACKERS(Offence) tend to score the 3rd highest(around 1.5k-2k). While they tend to attack the enemy base with the BOMBER, the low bomb count + reduced skill damage on base tends to kick the score below the bomber's.
* SHOOTERS(Defence) tends to score the lowest (around 900-1.4k). SHOOTERS tend to defend the base with the BLOCKER. Since they aren't attacking the enemy base + aren't generating any blocks, they don't really have a good way of racking up score. Kills give barely any score, unfortunately.
Score details: | |||
* 敵撃破(Enemies defeated)
* マップ破壊(Map/Structure Destruction)
* スキルテクニック(Skill/Technique) <- Points from Block generation show up here
* ペナルティ(Penalty) ie: Friendly fire
* 撃破された(Defeated) -100 every time you die
'''RANKED BATTLE ONLY:''' You will gain or lose rank points depending on the results of the match.
image | |||
== Bombergacha == | |||
This mode allows you to partake in gambling!
Gacha takes two forms of currency
* The premium Bombergirl Tickets, paid for and bought on their site.
* The F2P equivalent, Gacha Allowance Tickets.
<blockquote> | |||
* You can earn up to 10 Gacha Allowance Tickets (Equal to 1 roll) per day by playing online battles and filling out a stamp card.
* In order to fill out the stamp card, you must play 5 online matches.
* Any games beyond this point will not yield anymore Gacha Allowance Tickets.
* Gacha Allowance Tickets expire after 180 days (same as Bombergirl Tickets).
* You cannot mix Bombergirl Tickets and Gacha Allowance Tickets on 10 pull (Say you have 90 BG tickets and 10 Gacha Allowance Tickets; although a total of 100, you will not be allowed to do a 10 roll).
</blockquote>There are two options for Gacha rolls, 10 tickets and 100 tickets.
Using 10 tickets will result in obtaining 1 item.
Spending 100 Tickets for a 10 roll will guarantee that at least one item will be ★3 or higher.
Gacha can be rolled infinitely. (Given you have the funds)
In the upper right you'll see the combined pull rate for each Star rating of items:
* 1-3 stars is going to be chat voices, accessories, skills
* 4 star is Outfits and BGMs
* 5 star is Bombergirls | |||
Below that you'll see the current banner and to the right of the banner will be the Promoted items. Promoted items will have a higher rate of pulling than normal.
* If you do not have a Bombergirl: you will not be able to pull her chat-voices and skills
* If a Bombergirl is NOT currently promoted, the chance of pulling her will be astronomically low...
* If you already have a Bombergirl, or have a skill of hers maxed out already... unfortunately it's still possible to pull them again :C
* If you get a repeat Accessory, Outfit, or BGM, you'll get CP depending on the star rating of the repeat item
* Repeat chat-voices, character cards, and maxed out skills will net you character exp. Exception: If you have your character at rank lv120(current max level), you'll get CP instead.
* CP(Clothes Points) can be spent in the Locker Room's CP shop. Outfits and accessories that are in the CP shop, cannot be obtained from gacha.
* There is no pity system. So there is no guarantee of pulling a specific Bombergirl and/or her specific alt skill.
image | |||
If you click the yellow 排出率(Pull rate) button in the lower right, It'll bring up a window with detailed pull rate for each individual item.

Game Menu's
From the title screen, if you click the START button it'll take you right to the mode select screen.
Mode Select
From here you'll be able to select a Game mode to play (or the Locker Room)
- Online Battle and Single Battle are the main game modes.
- Tutorial: This option will make you play through a tutorial, before initiating a standard bot match in Bomb Town 1(you will play as Shiro). This bot match does not count as a single/online battle. So after the tutorial match ends, you'll be spat out to the Mode Select menu to play some more :) (TO BE CHANGED)
- Locker Room: You can dress up your Bombergirl, change skill loadouts, etc. here. See the next section for more info on the Locker Room.
- Gacha: You are able to spend acquired Gacha Allowance Tickets (Obtained by playing Online matches.) or Purchased Bombergirl Tickets here in exchange for goodies, such as: Skills, Fashion, Voice Chats, BGM and Characters. (Keep an eye out for what is featured on the current Gacha banner before spending tickets, make sure there is something you desire).
- Blue [ゲーム終了] button: Press this to close the game.
image
Locker Room
Locker room lets you change your skills/chat-voice loadouts, outfits, title, etc. It also lets you purchase various items with Clothes Points(CP). There is no time limit for the locker room (at least for the pc version).
The upper right buttons are as follows(from left to right):
- Green スキル (Skills) button
- Yellow チャットボイス (Chat voice) button
- Orange ドレスアップパーツ (Dress-up parts) button
- Blue CPショップ (CP Shop) button
- Purple プロフィール (Profile) button
in the lower left, below your Bombergirl is the ガール切り替え(girl switch) button. This will let you change your character. (clothing/skills/etc. are set per girl!)
image
Clicking the pink "判定" button (lower right) will confirm all your settings/loadouts, but it'll also make you leave the Locker Room.
Skills(スキル)
Do note that swapping out a skill mid-battle will incur a cooldown penalty, so make sure to swap at a wise time!
image
Random info:
- Skill cards start at Rank 00. If you pull the same skill card from gacha again, It'll increase its rank. (High rank = Lower cooldown)
- There is a "Lv." that is displayed on the lower right of each card. This is the required team level before the skill becomes available to use.
- Each Bombergirl comes with 2 default skills and up to 2 Alt skills. Alt skills can be obtained from gacha, but unless the current Bombergirl is featured on the banner, the pull rate(s) will be pretty low...
Chat voice(チャットボイス)
- See chat voice
Dress-up parts(ドレスアップパーツ)
After obtaining some dress-up parts (outfits, accessories, etc.) from Bombergacha, you'll be able to dress up your Bombergirl
There are 8 buttons on the lower part of the screen that'll bring up a certain category of dress-up parts:
Top row:
頭(Head)Pink, 顔(Face)Green, 服装(Clothes)Orange, 背中(Back)Purple
Bottom Row:
右手(Right hand)Sky-blue, 左手(Left hand)Red, 尻尾(Tail)Blue, その他(Other/BGM)Grey
After selecting a category, you'll be able to select a dress-up part from above to equip. Click the grey "セット中のパーツをはずす" To remove the part/return to default.
The その他(Other) category is where alternate BGM's are situated(if you have any unlocked)
image
Random info:
- Some dress-up parts originated from past events and cannot be obtained anymore
- Some dress-up parts will augment/change your specific Bombergirl's portrait art. (Ie: Using the cat suit on Urushi or using the witch dress on Aqua.)
CP Shop(CPショップ)
When pulling from Bombergacha, if you pull any repeat outfits/accessories/BGMs, you will get a certain amount of Clothes Points(CP), depending on the star rating of the repeat item.
★★ = 30cp
★★★ = 50cp
★★★★ = 70cp
Said Clothes Points(CP), can be spent in the CP shop to purchase a limited selection of dress-up parts, Bombergirl EXP, chat voices, BGMs and titles.
image
Random info:
- Any dress-up parts/BGMs that you see in the CP shop cannot be obtained from Bombergacha. (Ie: the blue maid dress is exclusive to the CP shop.)
- If you buy a chat voice via the CP shop, but later obtain the same chat voice via other means, you'll be refunded the CP spent.
- Normally you won't get any CP for repeated chat-voices(10)/skills(30-50)/Bombergirls(100), but if you happen to have that specific Bombergirl at Rank 120, you will obtain CP because said Bombergirl's Rank EXP is capped.
Profile(プロフィール)
First Tab(称号) will let ya pick your title. Click the (セット) Button next to said title to equip it.
The Second tab(戦績 本気でバトル) will show your archived ranks from past ranked battle seasons.

RANKED BATTLE ONLY: In the lower right you'll have a sky blue "退出"(Exit) button. ranked battle does NOT have a time limit for match making. So if you don't have the time to wait for a ranked lobby to populate, click this button to go back to the Mode Select screen.
image
When a large yellow window with: "マッチングが完了しました! しばらくお待ちください" on it appears. It means matchmaking is complete. Please wait for the lobby to populate.

- Adjust your team's composition to be more viable.
- Change your character to counter an opponent's pick.
- Change your character at the last second. (this sorta plays into the above 2 bullet points) Just make sure you are willing to face the consequences of your actions....
- Use chat voice to pump up your team or psych out your enemies. Note that spamming chat voice too much might annoy your team, causing the opposite to happen...
When you think you're ready, press the pink 準備完了(Ready) in the lower right to lock in your decision. You won't be able to undo this.

In-Battle Interface
You've finally reached the battle! I won't really explain how to play here, but I will tell you the menu translations~
the orange バースに帰還(return to base) in the upper left will return you to your base. (You can also use your assigned hotkey. By default it's the delete key)
- Takes a full 3 seconds to return to base. If you get interrupted, your return will be canceled.
- You will recover all of your health after returning to base this way.
- "Return to base" function will only take you back to your base.
- Team lv. requirement. Example: "LV.4で解禁" would indicate that your skill would be available to use after your team hits lvl 4.
- Remaining cooldown.
Above those 3 icons is the long red スキル入れ替え(Skill replace) button. Clicking this will slide out your Sub-skill menu. Select a sub skill above the skill key you wish to replace. Else click the now orange 閉じる(close) button to slide this menu closed.
Do note that swapping out a skill mid-battle will incur a cooldown penalty, so make sure to swap at a wise time!
By default the chat voice buttons will automatically hide after mouse inactivity. So to make it pop back up, wiggle your mouse. (Alternatively you can change your mouse auto-hide settings at the title screen>settings menu.)

Total Results
After the match finishes, you'll get to see how everyone on your team did. Do note that you should probably only compare scores of peeps of the same type, as certain character types/ roles have lower or higher scoring potentials.
Usually:
- BOMBERS(Offence) score the highest (around 2-3.5k), because enemy base damage gives a lot of score.
- BLOCKERS(Defence) tend to score the 2nd highest(around 2k). Generating blocks tends to give a lot of score. Exception: Grim Aloe. Converting bombs into blocks unfortunately doesn't rack up a lot of points :C
- ATTACKERS(Offence) tend to score the 3rd highest(around 1.5k-2k). While they tend to attack the enemy base with the BOMBER, the low bomb count + reduced skill damage on base tends to kick the score below the bomber's.
- SHOOTERS(Defence) tends to score the lowest (around 900-1.4k). SHOOTERS tend to defend the base with the BLOCKER. Since they aren't attacking the enemy base + aren't generating any blocks, they don't really have a good way of racking up score. Kills give barely any score, unfortunately.
Score details:
- 敵撃破(Enemies defeated)
- マップ破壊(Map/Structure Destruction)
- スキルテクニック(Skill/Technique) <- Points from Block generation show up here
- ペナルティ(Penalty) ie: Friendly fire
- 撃破された(Defeated) -100 every time you die
RANKED BATTLE ONLY: You will gain or lose rank points depending on the results of the match.

Bombergacha
This mode allows you to partake in gambling!
Gacha takes two forms of currency
- The premium Bombergirl Tickets, paid for and bought on their site.
- The F2P equivalent, Gacha Allowance Tickets.
- You can earn up to 10 Gacha Allowance Tickets (Equal to 1 roll) per day by playing online battles and filling out a stamp card.
- In order to fill out the stamp card, you must play 5 online matches.
- Any games beyond this point will not yield anymore Gacha Allowance Tickets.
- Gacha Allowance Tickets expire after 180 days (same as Bombergirl Tickets).
- You cannot mix Bombergirl Tickets and Gacha Allowance Tickets on 10 pull (Say you have 90 BG tickets and 10 Gacha Allowance Tickets; although a total of 100, you will not be allowed to do a 10 roll).
There are two options for Gacha rolls, 10 tickets and 100 tickets.
- 1-3 stars is going to be chat voices, accessories, skills
- 4 star is Outfits and BGMs
- 5 star is Bombergirls
Below that you'll see the current banner and to the right of the banner will be the Promoted items. Promoted items will have a higher rate of pulling than normal.
- If you do not have a Bombergirl: you will not be able to pull her chat-voices and skills
- If a Bombergirl is NOT currently promoted, the chance of pulling her will be astronomically low...
- If you already have a Bombergirl, or have a skill of hers maxed out already... unfortunately it's still possible to pull them again :C
- If you get a repeat Accessory, Outfit, or BGM, you'll get CP depending on the star rating of the repeat item
- Repeat chat-voices, character cards, and maxed out skills will net you character exp. Exception: If you have your character at rank lv120(current max level), you'll get CP instead.
- CP(Clothes Points) can be spent in the Locker Room's CP shop. Outfits and accessories that are in the CP shop, cannot be obtained from gacha.
- There is no pity system. So there is no guarantee of pulling a specific Bombergirl and/or her specific alt skill.

If you click the yellow 排出率(Pull rate) button in the lower right, It'll bring up a window with detailed pull rate for each individual item.
